i traded the silver gto in for the orange gto

And I don't mind the kit but those wheels destroy the GTO name, Its like placing wired wheels on a GTO. Just not as bad.


I like the AED kit but I still love the stock kit better. Just my personal opinion.

P.S. Did the back come painted black? I never noticed that on any others! I guess if it didn't its an idea taken from the old TA's?

I agree with EKling. I don't hate the AED kit, but IMO it looked better stock. The kit just does not suit the car, IMO. Same as the wheels, they're just not suited to the car.

But it's your beast, do as you wish. As long as you're happy I'm happy. I'd LOVE to be able to own a new GTO. :gravey:

I was going to say that I liked the stock front of the GTO better than the AED front as well, and it looks like I'm not alone.

But it is a very nice car you have there nonetheless :) So unfortunate you can't buy/own one of these in Canada :( (Can't even see them on the street :( ).

I will say, that is one hot looking car.

The power of course is a definate plus... going from the 5.7 to the 6.0 is a definate upgrade. That'll do some serious pounding should you take that on the track.

not necessarily. i was running the same times as the ls2 GTOs today in the 1/4, with my measly 5.7L camaro.

sick car, what performance mods do you have in mind?

the 5.7L Camaro weighs almost 500lbs less than the LS2 equipped GTO IIRC. The Goat is one heavy beast, 4300lbs or so. So while it has amazing power, its also heavy due to the luxury/safety what nots in the car. Its not exactly meant for balls-out-performance, it is a gentleman's sport car.

For the GTO only it is an upgrade I meant. (LS2 has more power for pushing the GTO body than the LS1 5.7 does)
