There aren't any you can just buy. You'll have to make them...

There was a company, cant remember off the top of my head. But they offerd projector headlights for the 99+ GA. I believe it was limited supply though and were like 700-800 US or something rediculous. Not sure if they had the angel eyes or not though.

I used CCFL Angel Eyes for BMW's. Shop for them on ebay. You can get them for $30-40. They are very fragile and you can only use two of the four tubes unless you get creative. I bought four set so far to get to where my lights are today.

AED head lights do not come with any lenses. Just an FYI I thought I would throw out there.

I think this is Rick Higgens car (sorry if I got cars mixed up).

I think he used the type of rings that you find on CCFL cooling fans. I believe they are tilted back to get them to fit.

HiggIns :) I did have CCFL's like that (see the drill hole before the light), but 1 ring broke so I bought the BMW ones(pictured) like you have. Those things are definately bright enough to be used as a DRL if the wiring could be figured out. Do an eBay search for DDE, a whole lot of different sizes with different prices, just make sure you buy CCFL and not LED. Just looks a whole lot nicer.

How did you get them in there in place, and to stay still for that matter. Do you just drill one hole? then run the little balace box to your battery? or a switched source. Sorry for all the ?'s im planning on doing it this week.

why dont you just make your own? it would cost like $10 total if that and its crazy easy

By make your own do you mean the Led style acrylic curtain rod type? I just read that tenspeed used the BMW kit but onyl got 2 of the rings to fit. I want to get a DDE kit but kinda sucks if half of the kit is no use. I am still trying to get things straight to do this myself too.

1/2 the kit is no use? the smaller rings can squeeze into the factory fogs, see below.

Edit: It's actually quite easy to get them to squeeze into the factory fogs. Main tools required are a dremel with a cut off wheel and a grinding stone, and a lot of rtv silicone. Basically cut the lense off, because it doesnt come off. then grind down the insides of the fogs until you can squeeze the smaller halo in. Then run the wires like normal.

yes thats what i was referring too. also, my first "angel eyes" were actually smaller clear round shower curtain rings from wally world. i still have pics of them up on my car domain.

Both those look sweet, I like the all white ones myself but the blue white looks good , not too blue and lights nice. I am still leaning towards the ccfls even though they are pretty $$ just that the rings look "cleaner" when lit, not so much light spread. But, still not 100% sure, little more research :)

i will agree there. my current angel eyes are more white then blue, the pic is deceiving lol. but them are LEDs and a glass ring.

when i make my new projectors i will prob use ccfls from computer fans, since they are alot cheaper then $30 :D
