what's the diff???

What's the difference between true carnuba wax and polymer sealants? They both shine and bead water but polymers claim to last for up to one year while waxes must be re-applied every 4 months.

I'm not sure about the specific differences, but if I let my car go for a year without waxing it it would break my heart. I am a fan of Meguires products and a recent fan of Zaino. Its great stuff!! I wax my car at least 4 or 5 times a year.
