I like that they show you the stereo info in with the gauges. Very nice car there.

I set it to the stereo, but it will display instant/avg mpg, miles left before your tank is empty, speed warning (good for this car because it goes 80 likes its standing still), and some other stuff like that. There is an aftermarket kit I want that will make it show fluid temps/boost/remote V1 display and some other stuff.

Thanks for the compliments! I promise you it really is not clean. Look at the front end close up. I am glad a lot of the dirt didn't show much.

Traction/stability control. And the stereo was adjusted by ear, not by where the knob is. The stock speakers pretty much suck.

But, I like the exterior of the older GTI's more, but for a VW this one doesnt look too bad, and it doesnt show dirt much.
Love the guages, and the rest of the interior, especially the radio and steering wheel :D

I am using a line out converter to add subs/amp in the hopes of keeping the HU. I haven't done it yet so I will have to see how it sounds. touch screen is a badass idea. And I LOVE the deep blue illumination in some (all?) VW cars. Almost as amazingly sexy as the Pontiac all red illumination, IMO

because turning the mids/bass up all the way sounds like CRAP. if you do this then you are one of the thousands i laugh at on a daily basis when i hear it. they turn the radio up and all i can hear is distortion

Honestly, I would probably not ahve gotten it with a different front end. I really dislike the rabbits front end. Actually I still would have gotten it because nothing else came close at all in my price range to driving like the GTI. I like that the front kind of hints at it's cousin, the Audi. Specifically the A3 which is their version of the same car.

That pic was in front of a power plant on Indiana route 66 between Rockport, IN and Grandview, IN, right on the Ohio river. I circled where the car sat in the pic below and all the smoke is where the cooling towers are.

/\looks like a cold-war era recon plane pic in color lol... that aside, if you don't like the current av... I suggest using the old (more detailed... remember the ducks?) Cadillac emblem that represented the line when they were the Standard of the World... and when we had liberty and didn't need to pursue it.

I guess that's what the CTS-V is for? :)

Nice man. I like the new design of the interiors in those cars. My dad has a 2006 Jetta(he sells them). I love the feel and ride of those cars. Also yours is very nice. :)
