96-98 guys with black headlight housings

i was wondering if the black headlight housing still had the stupid injection molding nubbies on them or if theyre smooth?

its the standard DOT housing that came with the regular lights. some states fail you for the state inspection if you dont have the nubs because the lights cant be "properly adjusted"

if you want, take sand paper to them, and then to get rid of the white dot youll have after its almost flush, use a blow torch and make it clear.
