I got this car last year right before I turned 20. I used to have a 2002 Grand Am GT modded.
I think I have modded my Jeep tastefully and to my standards. My only plans left are installing my HID Kit, maybe some nitrous or a custom turbo set-up and installing my custom sub box. It is the 3.7 Laredo.

Mad points for the blackout, but you are gonna get HEAT for having a jeep that can not offroad. And the ride doesnt horribly suck with that little sidewall?

Thanks.
I live in the city, there is not ONE place to off-road, plus I am about at 90% now with highway driving, especially since I am at school.
As far as the ride. Not that bad, a lot better than what I expected. I changed the shocks also, maybe that helped a little. But since I am on the highway a lot of I haven't noticed a difference. Less tire noise though, thats for sure. I guess it depends on the tires you get.

Looking good except for the altitude. I know you said it was a lease but isn't there a lowering kit you can do that is easy to undo later on? All you need is a good 2/3 drop. If not lower it I might suggest some rubber with a bit more sidewall to reduce wheel gap.

No he won't. I wouldn't mind a slammed out Jeep. Not something you'd see everyday thats for sure.
I mean honestly, how many people own brand new Jeeps and actually "Off Road" them? And I don't mean off road as in taking a gravel road to a camp ground site.

John, the only drop they make is an Eibach 1.5" kit and I honestly don't think that's worth it. I'm away at college so I don't have the tools to or space to install the kit myself. Places around here want upwards of $400-$500 to install it.
Plus, my dealership is giving me a hard time saying by me altering the ride height will void the warranty :(

Would the SRT8 suspension parts switch over?

Awesome ride.
A drop would be sexy as hell. But you have already gone there.
Again.....Awesome ride.

Looks good man.
Heck I bet 90% of the 4x4's here in Tulsa never seen the dirt.

Yeah, but the SRT8 is only about a 1" drop.

I was talking to a guy this week about airbags. Seems to be a plausible option for me :)

Airbags as in AirStruts/Airshocks where the strut or shock pass though the center of the bag? Often those are direct bolt in applications, but they cost about $1000 for a pair.

John, I'm not to keen on my terms. But this is a full air bag set-up. Like the compressor and regular bags. Full custom job. It looks like it will be around $3,000 with my discount. I am debating if it is worth it as I will not have this Jeep for more than another 2 years. I

That looks great. And while it it would look even more amazing lowered, it's probably not worth it on a lease when you're going to have to pull the parts off in a couple years...at least it wouldn't be to me.

Bag usually require some custom modifications to the suspension or chassis, thats why I was wondering if you were looking at airshocks/airstrurts because those can be done to be pretty much a bolt in application.
