It didn't look bad until you pulled the carpet back....
Ouch!

:tears:
I'm with Jim. I didn't see the big deal until the interior shot. Ouch!!!!! The rest of the damage sucks, but is relatively easy to repair.
Are they treating this as a write-off? :(
Glad you're OK though, that looks like it could have hurt pretty bad!

Chances are it will be totalled. But I have a few plans to work on.
1. Part the grand prix out, Take the S/C Find an adapter plate and fit it onto the Grand Am, Yup still have it. Also the bullit wheels fit on the GA so ill also transfer it.
2. Part the Grand Prix out and buy an f body for around 6k.
3. Buy another Grand prix and transfer all the parts from this one to it.
4. if totaled, Buy it back and fix it, I have enough resources where I could end up ahead on the budget plus some go fast goodies.
This may just well be a blessing in disguise!

Thats what I was thinking. I saw the first two photos and was like, 'Hurt, but not dead...'
Damn, sorry to hear that. Was one nice GTP.

Ok 2300 so far in damage before the the floorboard replacement, The insurance company valued the car at 5100. But KBB says 6100 looks like im gonna have to do some arguing.

well, was a good looking car  that sucks. im with john, at first i was like...well, i can see some minor damage, nothing too bad though. then you pulled the carpet back.
i would definately buy it back given the opportunity. there's a lot of salvageable parts left

LOL yeah the carpet back picture tells much more of the story than the other ones. As with everyone else, I thought it looked fine (meaning repairable no problem) until that one, But the floor damage doesn't seem so bad either--still looks repairable. If it's $2300 in damage and the car is valued at $5000-$6000 it's unlikely the insurance company will write it off. They'd write you a $2300 cheque probably, yes, but I doubt they'll go from $2300 to $5000.
But yeah definitely never drive or continue driving while drowsy. It's been shown in more than one study that driving drowsy is actually worse than driving drunk!

WOW, im with everyone else, didnt think the damage was that bad till i saw the inside pictures.
If it was my car i would buy it back and fix it, if its totaled. And find used parts to rebuild it.

Yeah. I have an older friend. Street Freakz guy actually, lol.
He gets so mad when things like this happen, and people just go buy another car. He'd look at that and go " I can fix it. :) "

If you get rid of this car I will loose all faith in your and punch you (Bender Quote) But seriously man I fell in love with your car when I first saw it.. ya it's red (RED = Cop Magnet) but it's a sweet ass ride. But anyway I think you should fix it or get another one same year and transfere parts. Just the stance and the wheels really set that off..
