stereo shuts off

Hey guys im really sorry if this is a stupid question but it's really annoying me. Ever since a week or 2 ago my stereo keeps randomly shutting off at times. It turns right back on but then usually goes off again. Im not sure, but i think it only does it when the volume is medium- high and im playin some bass. Also sometimes when the stereo turns off my airbag light turns on for the amount of time the stereo stays off. I'm sorry i dont know much of anything about electrics, i would really appreciate answers on how to fix this. Thanks.

It sounds like a bad connection to the harness.
I would take the power sorce off the Oem harness and run it directly the fuse pannel with a inline fuse aswell. Remeber to detatch and discharge the airbag system before you start any of that wiring.

if its not a bad conection in the harness if you have any amps make sure your getting a good amount of power because it may be sucking to much power for the stock alternator but if you dont have any amps then that shouldent be a problem
