I'm 16 so this is actually my first car. I paid $6995 for it. I like it a lot...it's much more fun to drive than my dads civic. the sound system is pretty good too. the only problem I have so far is the passenger door makes this loud, annoying popping noise when opened and closed. Besides that...everything's great! You guys have a nice forum here :)

We had a popping noise in our passenger door every time it was opened and closed, turns out a bolt was loose and would move when it wasn't supposed to so we just tightened it and had no more problems. :)
Also, welcome! :)

I also had the same problem about two weeks ago and it also turned out to be just a loose bolt on the door hinge.
Welcome to the GAOC.

Yeah I got my dad to take a look at it and he figured it out...he's just not sure if he has a tool for it? is it just a regular screwdriver or wrench what? (I'm not much with tools)
And my car got keyed for the first time today so yeah I'm excited about that! It's a nice long one to along the passenger side, but thanks for the welcome guys.:(

People who have no respect for others' property tick me off. If you have a problem with me, take it up with me, don't take it out on my car or stuff.
Anyway we didn't have to have any special tools, that I can remember anyway

Nice car! Better than mine that I got at 16, 88 bronco II for 300.00 lol... Sucks someone had to key your car, people lack respect just like Jessica said.

Yeah it really sucks...I don't know if I should go to like a Pontiac dealer and get some touch up paint, it probly wont even be like the same shade and it'll be even worse
It happened while I was at work, so now I'm not so sure if I want to park in that lot again. I wish I could meet the jackass who did it:mad:

On my car it was just a regular 6 point socket wrench, the bolt is very accessible and makes for a very easy fix.
Sucks about your car getting scratched all ready, can it be covered with a wax or is it too deep?

My dealer gives free touch up paint away in the collision shop.

It doesn't look very deep, but then again this is the first time it's happened to me so it's kinda hard to make an accurate judgement

can you get pictures of the scratch, if its not to bad, you might be able to get it buffed out somewhere.

about the same price I paid for mine... sucks about the scratch... I've got one I gotta fix, too but it's not from being keyed
