This is a pretty strange problem. So few days ago I tried to start my car and the battery was dead for no reason. So a AAA guy came by and helped jump start it. My clock reset, my radio settings didnt ironically.

Now every time I start the vehicle the starting noise is just much weaker. It isn't the same, car lacks that "WROOOM" when it starts. Now it feels like it barely has the power to go. Also when closing the car it no longer makes the noise for locking the doors, it just locks them. literally the little loud "beep" it did when locking unlocking is gone completely.

Any ideas gentlemen?

If your running the orginal battery replace it 3 years is about the best you'll get out of a battery

thanks Ray.

there is one more thing.... once I pop the hood i can hear some sort of noise like as if electric sparks go somewhere or something is flying out under some pressure. noise isnt there always, but when it is there its obvious. cant put my finger on it though.

Any ideas what can be causing that?

Sounds like a loose connection to the battery. Follow Rick's battery service procedure located in the FAQ: http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=64635
