Hi all,
I have been searching and reading for the past 2 hours or so, but am left with a question.
At ~34.5k miles, I suffered the death of my LIM gaskets. I managed to get GM to pay for the repair, even though I was out of the timeframe for my warranty. That saved me the hassle of spending this coming weekend doing it myself.
Well, it sure didn't save me ALL hassle. My temp used to never pass the first tick after 200 (I assume 205). Now, however, it sits 2+ ticks past 200, and sometimes reaches 4 ticks (maybe 220?). I took it back to the dealer this morning, and of course, it never went past 206 on the reader.
I'm thinking maybe the tech didn't burp the system fully after replacing the coolant? Or something else? Ideas are appreciated. Thanks!
