Say,Men: Does this sound familar? After complaining about tire noise to the dealer. I was told my stock goodyear eagle RSA's were deffected tires, but I was only entiled to two new ones, eagle LS's. Also, what about KLEEN WHEEL, brake dust shields? Thanks, Audie.

I hate Goodyear tires. I've never had any that felt worth a damn or were quiet. The Eagles on my GA were noisy as hell and I couldn't wait to get rid of them. My car now proudly wears a set of Michelins.

Goodyears are over priced junk. Yes Charles Goodyear was a geinus and discovered vulcanization... Super. However his tires in this day and age aren't worth half of what they cost. Ours made noises too. IIRC it was cleaning the bead and baby powder that made it better, but didnt go away.
IMO BFGoodrich, Michelins or if you want to save a few bucks, even Kumhos are far better tires than Goodyear for a lot less money.

I have two Firestones, a Goodyear, and a Dunlop on my car. The Goodyear is newer than all others and it's the most worn out. It also makes a lot of noise when your on the road (not squealing, like a wobbling). It's all good though, because tomorrow I am moving the two Firestones (front tires) to the back and putting two new Dunlops on the front.
Moral of the story: Avoid Goodyear tires.

On a FWD it's recommended to put the newer tires ( least worn ) on the rear .
