Hooked up my amp and sub today. Its 2x100watts/ Not bridgeable. I had just my bazooka tube hooked up but hated to waste a perfect 100watt channel so I found a 12" and box and hooked it up. It sounds great. I'm looking at a 400watt jensen now to replace my old amp. Will a bigger amp improve the sound?

Save your money, and get a reputable amplifier. A 400 watt Jenson, wont keep up with a 75 watt amplifier made by a reputable company. Jensen always has, and always be a third class audio company. Not trying to piss on your Jensen, but facts are facts.

Jenson = bad.
Throwing together random un-matching subs... bad. You may find that a single sub will outperform 2 or more unmatching subs.

I heard you can sometimes bridge unbridgeable amps? How do I do that? Then I'll have 200watts and just keep the 12" and lose the tube.

Yeah make a 2x100watts a 1x200watt. I think you need a channel inverter.

the electronics inside those non-bridgeable amps won't allow you to bridge them. Just buy a decent name brand amp,check out http://www.onlinecarstereo.com they have good prices and most come with warranties. Stick with either the 2 channel amps(most of these ARE bridgeable) or go with a monochannel amp which are mainly just for subwoofers but its harder to match the RMS of a subwoofer to some of these mono channel amps

Might be possible (you'd get more that 200W--into a 4-Ohm load you'd get twice the 2-Ohm stereo rating) but it isn't worth the trouble, especially for an amp that's only 2x100W.
If the amp isn't bridgeable it has to be really old--I haven't seen non-bridgeable car audio amps in forever. If it's an old amp, you might as well buy a new one anyway. Something in that power range is not going to be that expensive plus since it's going to be for subs you can get a Class-D amp for some added efficiency :)

Now that I think of it I was only told its not bridgeable. I tried once just with the bazooka so maybe I just couldn't told.

I think his last word was supposed to be tell? (Instead of a repetition of the word told?) LOL.
