Well, I change my front struts about 6 months ago and now I guess the rears are due. I'm about to hit 100k miles and the struts are original... THe tire place I go to said my rear tires look like they are getting "chopped up" and they say it's because of the struts. THey also say struts don't normally last to 100k so they should be replaced anyway.
ANyhow, when I did the fronts I used the "Quick Struts" that have the spring, top housing, etc all in one nice piece and it worked fine. Are the rear struts any harder or easier to replace than they fronts? I see each strut is about $50 cheaper at NAPA's website so not sure if they are really that different or what.
If anyone has any steps on changing the rear struts for a '99 GA that has pictures of where everything is, that'd be great too.
Thanks.
