my exhaust came the other day and i was wondering if this is supposed to be here...

i was wondering if this is to fit over something or is it a defect from the bender?

Mine had the same thing, not sure what it is. Hsnt caused any problems or anything.

I don't remember that dent but I installed my system a couple of years ago. It looks like it might be for clearance where the pipe goes over the axle.

Mine has it too. It is for clearance over the rear axle.

Guys at Pipes Peformance did a custom pipe for me withought the dent. Took them a while to get it in there but did an awesome job!Oh, SLP muffler going on this week...
