i have read the posts on painting and such so this is not a repost....at least thats not its purpose. I have read different methods of getting parts out of the car to paint but would like the wildly used (easiest) way of removing the black spedomiter dash area, the vent rings, and the center consol but just the area where the cd player area is. If at possible I beieve when I was reading through someone posted a sight that showed how to remove the vent rings.....please post if you know?

Removal:

Vent Rings- There are 3 clips inside the vent which hold the ring on. Take a flash light and you should be able to see them. You will have to use some kind of hooked screwdriver to lift these tabs as you pull it out.

The red circles identify the clips that release the vent ring.

The Red circles are were the clicks are accepted back in. The blue circle is the slot that lines up your vent ring ring to go back in. You will also notice a notch on the vent ring that should be lined up with the accepting end.

Instrument Bezel- Two screws at the top of the bezel about halfway between the end of the bezel and the gauge face. Two screws by the steering column. Upper column cover should be removed for conveniance.

Radio Bezel- Its all clips just use a flat head screwdriver start in a corner and work your way around be gentle though.

Hope this makes a bit of sence and helps ya.
