Hello All,
My name is Cody and I bought my first Grand Am a month ago. It is a 99 Grand Am GT and red :)
I want to modify my Grand Am, but just had to put tires and stuff on it.
Just wanted to say hi :)
-Cody

So I have owned my Grand Am for a month and it already got hurt :(
Backing out of my driveway and I clipped the front end on it. But now I guess I have to put on that body kit. Darn! hehe
This is what I am considering for it, but of course keeping it red :)
Does it look bad to put a black body kit on a red car?

Kit looks alright, IMO. Just that green kinda makes it look bad, lol. (Fitment doesn't look so hot on that car either...)I don't like the built in little things for the fogs either, that looks weird to me. Given I only like maybe one or two body kit fronts for 99+ cars, but that one looks okay too (minus the green and the fogs, lol).

I am keeping my car red. And I don't like those fog lights either :)

Welcome to the GAOC Cody.
I wouldn't do the body kit, not until you atleast get some wheels. The stock wheels will look lost surrounded by that big body kit.

I do want to get new wheels...but I can't decide between 16" or 17". If I go to 17" I will lose low end torque...but would it really be that much?

Do 17s. You have torque to spare with the 3400.:)
