db drag bass race's a 149.9 well prolly higher just havent tried, just making sure i have that down for finals next week
didnt have the air space to go ported they are in a a little shy of 2 cubes per 15 so tiny tiny box i just wanted to go with an old school setup and hoped it would be reasonably loud

its in a 96 chevy blazer 4 door, right now it only has one 200 amp ho alternator brand alt and the 2 nsb 125 batterys, i need to get another one and a nsb 90 under the hood, the baffle's (where the subs mount) is only 3 layers of mdf, the side walls are 3 or 4 layers and braced with 2x4's externally the roof and floor are also 3 layers externally braced the back wall is 6 layers also braced, i believe in all its 10 sheets of mdf maybe 12

I like the choice of driver ;) If you're not goint to choose RE, Fi is the next closest thing (not sure if you know why :) ) Very different - an SPL setup with LOTS of material (heavy heavy heavy) thats /not/ ported! Those drivers and that power are an easy high 50 vented properly....
The box looks solidly (if not overkill) built....in the game of pure burping, being /bang on/ is a science. As an example, I've got customers with street beat systems doing very high 40's on stock electrical systems....
If I was to recommend changes - I'd say to move all that gear BACK....I know the wall concept is to minimize the pressurized space, but that chassis blazer is LOUD when the drivers are at the back. If you're into doing a rebuild (which if you're a true spl'r, you'll be doing in about a months time hahaha) consider making a large, flat, rectangular enclosure - give each sub about 50 inches of port, put the drivers on top and the single slot on the back facing the tailgate. You'll be surprised at what'll happen <wink>
are those Q's?

Yeah, thats pretty loud. I think it could do more though. I agree with hamiltonaudio, subs up/port back in almost any suv is gonna be the best chance at getting loud without a true wall

bmoney i had thought about doing a form of a crx box, but i just love walls always have, i went with this design because i compete in bass race and thats bringing competiton back to its roots with lots of power and lots of coner area in the power wedge or honeycomb or diamond boxes musical systems not just boring burp monsters, if i stick with it next year, im probably going to sell the blazer and go with an astro with 8 15's or 6 18's on a flat wall, i know my v wall isnt the most effective box and i still have a bunch of work to do, and they are the ssd line

those subs look prett nice. the basket and magent look like the ones that eclipse uses on their aluminum subs. i know that most of the baskets out there are generic, made from only a few companies.
i also love paper cones, very natural sound.
do you live in mikes area? ill be out there, id like to have a listen to this system when im out there in a month.

That reminds me of the old days. Had a friend that owns Mike's Audio here in Baton Rouge. They did an extended cab Chevy truck with a full camper, they put 24 (yes24) 15" Kickers in it. All Orion powered. The funny part was, when he went to the nationals that year, he got SPANKED by Mark Faqunta (wrong spelling) who held the world record that year with running 12 - 15" Fosgates. Was still impressive to look at though.
