whats the worst that can happend to 2-12" CVR's with dual 2 ohm voice coils set up to run at .5 ohm wtih a 1ohm stable amp? if u need the amp, ill send u the link

the amp will overheat and shut off.if its a cheap amp then itll have many issues. when its runing itll have lots of distortion siunce amps distort when they heat up (and itll do that with .5 ohms). if you run them in series then youll have 2 ohms, which will be nice better for the amp. if it doesnt have enough power for you at 2 ohms then get a more powerful amp. ;)

The very worst thing that could happen would be that the amp starts smoking and possibly catches something on fire :eek:

Dave's situation is more likely, however... Anyway yeah get an amp designed for maximum power at 2 ohms, for the most cost-effective solution for those subs.
