View Full Version : FS: HID Kits (Brand New, Never Used)

I was going to go into the HID business but I decided against it. So I am stuck with a lot of kits. I can't release the brand name because I will get in trouble for selling them below their contract price. Hit me up on AIM if you want to know ;) (NuAmericanSaint).

Price will be $205 shipped, but if I can get 7-9 orders I can do $190 shipped. I am not looking to make much of a profit just enough to ship and for gas honestly.

Just name the bulb size and color you need and I'll let you know if I have it.

My username on eBay is grandam02gt. I have 83 transactions and 100% feedback rating.

Installation: I can't stress how easy this mod is to do. Even the most beginner at car mods can do this. It is 100% plug and play. The hardest thing to do is mount the ballasts and that is only hard because it depends on where you want to put the ballasts. Mine are visibile.

For more information hit me up via AIM, PM or here. If I sell 10 kits or more I will reduce the price further and donate some money to GAOWNERSCLUB.

This is the best representation of these kits:

5000k (which is pretty much 4300k) = 3200 lumens

6000k = 2800 lumens

I feel kinda stupid asking... But, they can go into stock housing right, without melting anything?

I don't know anything about HIDs.. that's why I ask :D

Trish,

Everyone needs to learn somehow right? That is a common question you ask. They do fit in stock housings and they will NOT melt anything. HIDs run at a lower watt than stock halogens.

They should be illegal. The next person that pulls up behind me at night with those damn things on....is gonna get a major blast in the ear.

If you can install headlight covers, put in an air freshner, or wash your car you can install these HIDs. They are 100% plug and play.

The legality of low-beam lamps is indeed determined by the light output level in most provinces. Colour temperature on the other hand is not regulated as far as I know. In Ontario the light output level of the low beams is specified in candela IIRC.

If a person's low beams are too bright then yes it is already illegal; however if they are "too white" that isn't really an issue.

Lots of cars have HIDs these days, and it's filtering down to lower priced cars more and more every year. You can't just use a blanket statement to cover any car with HIDs saying they should be illegal. If you're talking about bulbs/low beam lamps that are way to bright (or idiots that drive around with their high beams on all the time), however, I'd agree.

The problem I have with the HID lights is that the kits I can afford are one setting. No highs and lows. I live out in the country and could use more light but I need both beams more.

My HID kit is brighter than my hi's. So, I don't see the need for Hi Beams.

and I see the need for low beams. I need both beams to pass the yearly state inspection.

I am going to get some HID's but I need to know what the kit consists of. Do you have photos of the parts and who makes it and if its a cheap kit or not.. I don't want to spend 200$ on a kit and have it be a shitty one I could have bought on eBay for like 80$. Just trying to research, plus id like to stay in between the 8000-10000K bracket.

I do have photo's of the kit. Just PM me your e-maill address and I can send you quite a few pictures. The kit does include everything you need to hook-up the HIDs to your truck. Thanks.

I am willing to let these kit's go for $195 shipped. That's everything you need to install these kits PLUS and 1 year warranty. All kits are GERMAN made and not the cheaper kits as you see on eBay.

I am literally making $3 per kit, that will cover my gas!

How long will you be having these? My friend wanted HID's for his ride but he would need 9003.. I believe.. it's a bulb with the HI and LOW in the same bulb.. it would be for a 99 Mazda Protege.

Do HID's include just low beams? or both low and high beams? and which bulbs would be like a purpley blue.

Peyman
01-03-2008, 11:32 PM
you can get the option w/ hi and low, if both hi and low and hid/zenon then they would be called bi-zenon, or if you go w/ the pilot kid hit, they offer a low in hid, and it has a halogen as its high (but the halogen bulb is crap and the output of the light is all over the place), i just say you go w/ a low beam hid kit... thats all u need... once u have hids, u dont need a high beam

4000k- white
6000k white w/ hint of blue
8000k- blue
10000k- blue/purple
12000- velvet deep purple

something like that lol

Would these fit into projector housing? I wouldn't mind getting a hid kit if I could put them into a projector housing, I believe that's the best way to go with hid's. I wouldn't want to be blasting these through something they weren't designed for.
