I am having trouble with the service engine light on my 1994 Pontiac Gran Am. I had it check on a scope and they said I had to cahnge the EGR valve. This was done at a cost of $400 canadian, and the light still comes on. Now I am told that this is a common problem with 1994-1997 Grand Am's. Can anyone out there confirm this or make sugestions as to how to correct the problem? Thank You.
