sorry, can't help you with the 2.2 but i got a 2.4 with a dynomax super turbo camaro style. i left the cat and resonator and it is pretty loud when floored but not much louder then stock while cruising. I love it.

I have the SLP cat back on my ecotec. It sounds like many of the sports cars that I remember, only a little louder.

Highway noise is a little loud. I put my resonator tips on for the winter. It knocks the cabin noise down and it keeps the SLP tips out of the salt spray.

I've got a flow pro performance turbo muffler and I love it. I've had people tell me that it sounds mean as hell. Super rumbley and it crackles and pops a lot. Pretty quiet if I want it to be. I have 2.5" piping but I'm going turbo so if U'r staying NA U may want to stick to 2.25". http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e366/BledRedGaSe/th_myexhaustday.jpg (http://s43.photobucket.com/albums/e366/BledRedGaSe/?action=view&current=myexhaustday.flv)

yeah u know what i might go with the magnaflow muffler also..
its a bit $$$ but ive heard the sound of mangaflow before plenty of times...

for my other car i went with a flowmaster80.. its nice when cruising.. but once u step on it, it gets mean and i have to admit a bit too ricey for my taste.. but hey.. what can u do.

I have the SLP cat back on my ecotec

niiice, how much did that run you $$$???.. im considering

also is that on the stock cat?.

I lucked out and found it on ebay, slightly used (15 miles they said). They had a $200 "Buy It Now" price plus $75 shipping.

It bolts up just like on the V6's, onto the flange after the cat.
