I have a question. I was contemplating on purchasing pre-wired red LEDs from oznium. My question is, how would I go about wiring any of the led's I setup to the lights that turn on automatically when it gets dark? I'm planning on putting led's in my door handles, and vents. I also have three neon tubes to light up under the dash. I would like them all to come on when it gets dark out, and also would it be possible for them to fade in and out along with the dash lights when using the dimmer control? or possibly when you switch the fog light switch..either or would be cool..jsut so they arent running at all times

For the LED's in the door handles, you can spice into the power wire for the door locks. Then they'll turn on when you low beams turn on. I think its the grey wire going into the lock switch.
As for tubes under the dash and LED's in the vents. I would wire them to a seperate switch run straight off the battery. Then you have total control over them without turning anything else off.

single LED's are not an issue, but running multiple tubes etc off a "trigger" for a light is not a good idea. These circuits were designed to power the light attached to it, and not much more...you run the risk of blowing fuses (at a minimum) or doing other random damage when just tying recklessly to these circuits.
As well, you could use the parklamp circuit (brown wire at the HL switch) as a trigger for a properly wired relay. Then when the lights are on, it trips the relay and you have enuf juice to safely power 1000000's of led's and neons ;)
A little installers trick for running a single LED when the key is OFF...instead of wiring a normally closed relay setup and configuring the relay "backwards" so it trips the led when the ign is off....you can simply use the vehicles main ignition lead (the larger PINK wire in the IGN harness) as GROUND. Yep, ground....99% of ignition systems rest at ground, and provide more than enough current for some LED's....so when the key goes off, the LED comes on! nice little easy to do cheater security feature ;)
