Question about burning oil

My car has been going down on oil like 1 Qt or 1 Qt 1/2 a month. its not leaking it. So it must be burning it what could cause this? how would i fix it?

Chad, thats a lot of oil to be burning what you have to do is take it in to determine what is really the problem then shop around for pricing or go to someone you trust to do a good job.

Usually a leaky valve seal is the problem or head gasket. Def take it to get checked out

I wouldn't fix it. It's a 9 year old car.

Buy a case of oil and carry a couple of quarts in the trunk.
