What lights are best

Like i posted earlier, me and a bud cleaned the headlights in my 96 GA, and installed some APC super Whites. They were only 21 bucks and i figured why not. Theyre pretty bright, and have a small blue tint to them, which is cool, but i want to get some with alot of blue tint on them, so im asking, which are best or better, Silver Star, or APC, or what brand do you guys recommend. I had heard that some may star burning throught the headlight it self, put a worker at O'reilys told me otherwise. Just asking for some help.

silverstars are better, but blue is illegal, just an FYI.

Silverstars have hardly any blue tint to them. They're just a brighter white. And they won't burn through your headlight, no aftermarket bulb will if you keep the stock wattages.

If you really want blue and some decent output, get some 8000k or 10000k HIDs.

Just curious how you clear lights that don't have anything of any color in them?


BTW, sounds like the guy behind the counter wouldn't know a light bulb from a piston if you ask me.

I hate passing someone that has blue-tinted lights. It wreaks havoc on my eyes.
