I did a search and found quite a few of you own Volfenhag subs and amps, but are their 4x6 and 6x9 speakers any good? The front speakers were blown in my GA when I bought it, and the rear speakers are showing some signs of wear. I was going to throw some Pioneer speakers in the front, but these are about thirty dollars cheaper (I am very strapped for cash, but I have enough to put maybe 100 dollars max in my entire stereo).

Before I even do that, 94 Grand Ams (SE Sedan) have 4x6's in the front, right? I havent pulled the door apart to see them and my research has shown that msot have 4x6s, but some sources say 5 1/2 inch.

Thanks in advance.

Volvenhag is a very entry level brand...and will provide you with entry level performance. If ur upgrading from blown stock stuff, anything is better! But comparing Volf to even Pioneer is silly....

its not that good (and the price reflects that) :(

Alright then, how about the Pioneer 4x6s compared to some Audiobahn 4x6s?

when it comes to things like speakers, choice is extremely (if not entirely) subjective...you need to get to a dealer and have a listen to both, preferrably in an A->B test to know for sure what YOU like...

I've had people tell me they didn't like how one particular speaker set sounded when I loved them and so on.... go have a listen!
