keep it.

A couple weeks ago a guy almost hit me and I swerved to miss him. I was on gravel and in was fishtailing. hit this huge ass log on my passenger side under the car. *moral* keep the airdam because if it wasnt there it would have hit my radiator loose and it would have fallen out. Plus the airdam is a big piece that holds the radiator up and it is part of the tire well

so yes you want to keep it on.

I agree :agree: also the fatory air dams also direct air through the radiator. So I dont recomend taking anything out down there either

My air dam just came off today. Three of the four screws were undone, so it was dragging, and I took the last one off. I see that it's good to have, but how bad is it to NOT have? And if you have any idea of an approximate cost to replace, that'd be great too. Thanks!

I've replaced mine twice, now I have two on it to make it stronger. It was like under 20 bucks CAD, so should be like 12-15 max USD I would guess :)

Some people don't replace them, my car when I got it, didn't have one, probably won't notice any huge differences, but for a relatively inexpensive part, why not.. plus especially the newer cars look like they are missing something when they don't have that part...

Thanks for the info. I'm considering a junkyard hunt. I would think that wouldn't be a hard item to come by, and should be especially cheap.

I cracked mine by scraping it on the pavement too much about 18 months after I got my car.

The part was pretty cheap ($13-$20 USD). The dealer even put it on for me at no extra charge.

Tey are usually missing or broken at the wreckers.. Depends where, if the cars are sitting on the ground like most up here, then they are for sure broken, or too hard to get off
