I would not recommend these bulbs to anyone. Since my old ones burned out, I thought I would try these, but my driver side one burned out after 2 minutes. I contacted the company and they tried to tell me I used a wrong bulb. I basically demanded a new pair and they finally arrived. Again, the driver side one burned out after 2 minutes.

I was surprised that the Silverstar signal bulbs are only $10 a pair now. So I am sticking with these again.

No different then the Sylvania SilverStar amber bulbs. They are just chrome instead. Will give the same look and actually cost less.

that only matters on headlamp bulbs, on turns it doesnt affect the life of the light.

there mightbe a short in the system since you burned out your bulb to begin with. id use a voltmeter to check it out before accusing them of two bad bulbs in a row.

My old ones burned out because they were used for a long time. I put in a new Silverstar signal bulb(which is what I always have used) and it is still working fine after a long drive. I can blame on those Stealth bulbs. They were properly installed too.

I got my chrome bulbs a couple of years ago from ebay, about $10 a pair.

I like the blue/chrome look of the silverstars anyway. Just wish their headlight bulbs lasted as long as these instead of 3-6 months.

I hate to bud in to somebody's thread, but I thought this might help out a bit. I have found that Sylvania is very, very customer friendly. I bought SilverStar's for my fogs, and I had one burn out in about six months. I didn't save the reciept neither; but I didn't think the bulb would be guaranteed that long anyways; after six months, I mean..
Anyways, I e-mailed them to ask if I might have gotten a bad bulb. To my surprise, they asked my name and address and said they will ship two bulbs to me right away. No question about when I bought them... no questions asked at all.
Sure enough, I recieved two bulbs in about a week. Now that's what I call very friendly customer service... I didn't even have the reciept, but they still sent me two bulbs.

Just thought I'd mention that in case it might help somebody out. If you think your bulb burnt out prematurely, go to their website and e-mail them. Oh... incidently, they told me that the SilverStar #880 fog bulbs usually last for approximately 100 hours of use.

I have had bad luck with Silverstar fogs too. I just do not use foglights now.

Silverstar headlights were good to me, but my current PIAA headlights lasts longer than any other aftermarket bulb I have used.

Oh, I have them in the GA. They've been in there for about a year now. Of course, I think I've had the headlights on about three times since I put them in. I was refering to the Vibe. I think the DRL cause the early burnouts. :(
