I am frustrated by an external coolant leak. A small amount of coolant has started to appear on the garage floor on the passenger side of the engine right next to the passenger wheel (inboard side). When you look into the engine compartment from the top, the leak appears to be at the a/c compressor pulley! Because of the serpentine belt, ignition module, alternator, etc. it is impossible to really see where the leak is originating. Looking from underneath is the same, too many components to get a clear view. I have changed the intake manifold gasket, the water pump, and the radiator hoses recently. Not to say that those components could re-fail - but I have tried to rule them out. Another possible clue is that the leak does not occur until some time after driving. For instance, I get home from work at 5:00 pm. I check under the car periodically, but do not notice any dripping until 8:00 or so. Same thing every day this week. Sorry this is long winded, but I am frustrated and am trying to provide as much info. as possible. Any help, thanks in advance!!

I guess I'll reply to my own post...:( I guess coolant leaks are not exactly a compelling topic - it seems everyone with a 3300 (or any GA V-6, for that matter) has had a coolant issue. As for my current problem, I went and snugged up the hose clamps a little. I was pretty soft on them when I put the new hoses on because it is hard to tell how hard to tighten them without ruining the hose. The dripping stopped. Talk soon good friend,
