sounds like a marbel in a pop can is in my engine!

Hey, i have a 97 GA with a v6. I bought the car off a guy who bought the car totaled and fixed it (could be a problem but i didnt notice it until after the warranty expired). Anysways when i dont have the a/c on it sounds like there is a marbel in a pop can being shoken up in my car, very annoying since now i have to leave my a/c on all the time. Any suggestions?

get a new a/c compressor

I had a 96 GA with a similar noise. Took it to my mechanic & he told me that the clutch on the A/C motor was making that god awful noise. Might be something to look at.

thats what happened to my 1996 ga but i was too late to get it fixed and i need a new compresor. and all i need was a new bearing but waited to long
