Can anyone recommend some nice smoked or black small side signal lights for my 2003 GT? I want to put them at the top of the running board molding just behind the front fender. Can't find anything I like so far.
i like the Audi A4 ones...if you can find them id get some and tint them yourself. my mos car has them...the bulbs sits behind a mirror so it reflects off of the lense. teh hotness

i have some cheap APC ones on my car, and wish i would have never done it. Now i have to buy new fenders if i want to remove them since you have to cut holes in your fenders for the wiring and such.

Weld it up..... alot cheaper then new fenders, and will last just as long. Unless you find used fenders in your color already then nevermind lol.

Yea i thought of that, but then ill have to get the area painted. So ill probably end up buying some junkyard fenders at a u-pull it place.

You'll most likely end up painting fender from a salvage yard anyhow.
And I'm not a fan of the lights on the fenders either. That look lasted a whole, what 6 months about 6 years ago. lol

Katyln, If I understand you correctly you want to install it where the lower part of the fender & the rocker panel meet.
Have you thought about using LED's or LED strips?
If you only want it for accent lighting that's the way to go I think. I installed 5mm LED amber "running" lights on my SE in the bumper where the groove is. Each light is a small circut board with resistor and 3 each 5mm LED's mounted on it, sealed with urethane, 4.8mm holes drilled, LED assy pushed through & then urethaned to the bumper. All you see is the tip of the clear LED and even then you have to look really close.
Anyway, that was a while ago and there are may pre assembled LED lights/kits these days that may work with a little modification. There is one manufacturer (EUFAB) that makes all sorts of LED assemblies. Here's the link www.eufab.com (http://www.eufab.com) (site is in German & French only)
Don't know if these kits are available in the US but I think I saw them when I did a froogle search a while back.

Yeah I went to the saab dealer and walked around the cars that had them, and I got a smoked set from the car that had them on it (i think it was the 9 3). I just went to the parts counter and ordered a left and right and went on my way

Thanks everyone for the ideas, sounds good. They are just going to be running lights. I already have signal mirrors.
Yes, where the top of the running board meets the fender.

I like the ones on the new BMW 5 series. I might go with those.
