shifter knob

Hey, anyone know how to remove and replace the shifter knob? I need thorough instructions on how to do it, cuz i'm not having the dealership do it when it's something so simple that I could do it myself. I've tried to look it up in the Haynes manual, but didn't find anything about it. Thanks folks :)

Some cars have a little horseshoe-shaped clip that holds it in place. A flathead screwdriver or needlenose pliers can usually pull that out, and the knob just lifts off. But I'm not familiar enough with the newer Grand Ams to say if that's how it's held on...
