Anyone notice that their tie rod has a grease zerk fitting?

I got a 2k grand am gt and thought they had gotten away with making it a total sealed system. I was told that yesterday by the guys that changed my oil. No one ever mentioned it before.

Most cars do have greasable outer tie rod ends. It's the upper and lower ball joints that are sealed on most cars these days.

You can buy a needle for your grease gun and and puncture the rubber and ever so genlty pump some grease into those puppies. Be careful no to overfill or it will ooze out all over the place.
