So, I decided that I am going to tint my reverse lights. I have finished one and re-installed it back onto the car. I want to know if you all think I should go through with tinting the other one, or leave them clear. Thanks

I've already tinted the amber corner markers in the front bumper. That really cleaned up the look of the car. I am going to hopefully at some point in time VHT my tails, and tint my windows.....but that all requires money, which is something I dont have right now...haha.

I like it but spray the screw heads black so it matches

Make them match, it doesn't look bad and it blends the lens into the bumper. Black marker on the screwheads.

I tinted mine. Only difference...I tinted mine to match the color of my car.

Thanks for all of the input. I think I am going to tint both of them. I was waiting until tonight to test them out in reverse to see if the tint blocked too much light, but they still iluminate the back of my car enough to get into my spot. Now, I like the screw heads the way they are, but I'm still debating whether or not I should paint them black.???

In response to a pm from Nathaniel. (thread starter)
I tinted my reverse lights to match my paint. I didn't use tint, per say. I simply applied some VERY light coats of paint from a rattle can....while trying to maintain the translucent properties of the lights. Of course, I did match the color as best as possible. I then wet sanded the lights with 1500 wet grit paper, then applied three coats of clear. Now...I only did it because my reverse lights looked like crap. You know...all dark on the inside. But, I kinda liked them tinted, and couldn't be arsed enough to buy a new set. So I left them that way, with the intention of making them into brake lights....which I haven't done yet. And don't think I will.
Anyway. You requested a picture.

PS. This picture is modified a bit. I wanted to see what my key hole would look like shaved. Pay no attention to that.

You can always buy the covers, that way you can take them on and off like I can so if the PoPo don't like it. the ones I have are GTStyling covers I picked up for like 45 bucks.

I just got done tinting both of them...and painting the screw heads black. It looks really nice. They may look yellow in the picture, but I think that is due to the lighting. The tint I used is for small auto applications from Lamin-X. It worked great and looks really good too. Going to have to wait until it gets a little darker to get a good picture because the glare is horrible. Thanks

V6 i really like those wheels you got on there

Why tint one thing when you can tint it all I say, actually it would of looked beaner if I just tinted my reverse light lol. But yea those wheels are great, although I'm debating about nebraska snow might be a bit to much so I might buy winter tires and go back to hubs for the winter. But yea Drifz 17" 245/45/R17 very very wide wrapped with Nexon N3000's. But back ontopic, the tint looks much better, I'd tint the brake lights to match, my opinion.

Alright, here's a pic of the back of my car. The screw heads are sprayed black, and the lights are tinted. As for what V6 said, I will be tinting my windows and tails in the spring....hopefully....The tails will be cleared, have custom LED lights, and a nice dark coat of VHT nightshades on them.

Looks nice, post a shot of your car clean, and in reverse, I'd just pull the ebrake all the way up and throw it in reverse, I noticed with my head and tail lights covered, things arent very bright anymore, my foglamps are brighter than my highbeams, any suggestions for bulbs to use?
