Is it typical of the GA's of this era to have the fuel pumps fail with lower mileage? but then again taken into accountability the car is almost 10 years old now also so that could have some to do with it, at least on my Bonneville it showed signs for a good 3 weeks before it got bad, the GA started yesterday and now its really bad.
The heater core is also doing that nasty anti freeze smell thru the vents that everyone seems to have on this era of the GA's
She goes in for service on Tuesday thankful I am still within my guarantee on the car and it not costing me anything at all. Around how much is this going to cost the dealership?

Hopefully alot so they can see what it is like to have to pay alot to fix a car. If i were you I would double check their work. Ive heard of half fast jobs by dealerships because they arn't making anything off of the repair.

The dealership don’t do the work, I take it to the place I pick and they pay them when the car is ready to be picked up while it’s covered under the dealers coverage.
I always use the same place a small independent. guy north of okc has always done good work and fast and never had to take any car back for the same reason, he had my Bonneville fuel pump replaced in half a day, I was very excited as it was my first day of a two week vacation when I was going out of town.
I got my Bonneville from the same car lot as well; he charged them 390-400 for that job. thing I really hated about my Bonneville was the year mine was people loved those center caps, I think I lost 6 of them in teh short time I owned it before selling it to a friend, and they are not easy to come by for those years either!
Thanks for the advice tho
Donnie
