Did you just replace the bulbs? Or what? Cuz they look like they would have some crazy ass glare. What's the cut off look like?

Swapping to HID headlights takes a little more than just changing the bulbs.

If your just changing bulbs your not installing real HID, just cheep HID wanna-be lights.

Ill grab some pics on a wall when I get home for you guys. Yeah I didnt switch the bubls alone I actually had to get a plug in unit that plugs into the harness coming from the headlight bulb and one that plugs into the other end if that makes sense the way I worded it.

Depending on the angle they kinda look as if they are different colors. Maybe the bulbs are really cheap. Im going to look into ordering the 6k ones.

4300 K are what they are. I called and asked my g\f to look on the box.

id stick with 4300k...any higher than that and you start to lose output. i wish i had gotten 4300k instead of 6000k. live and learn i guess...as for posting pics...unless its against a wall or something posting them is a waste of time...theres no way to tell what they look like. all lights look the same to a camera at night.

I hope the glare isn't as bad as the photo makes it seem. Would make it dangerous for other drivers and yourself if so.

Many factory HID setups aren't just headlamps with HIDs installed, they are designed for the HID light it's self. Otherwise you get stuff like high glare, etc. That is why projection beam lights work well with true HIDs.

yea because the projection beams enclose the light and direct it in a certain path, keeping it from straying off to the sides which causes to blind people. I have seen some cars that didn't come with HID's get installed with some and there wasn't much glare.

Ive seen a couple 96-98's(including Peyman's pics) that the glare wasn't bad and seemed to stay out in front of the car and down to the road, for the low beams of course

I'd like to see the wall-shot as well... I decided to pass on HID upgrade, considering the beam pattern in the 92-95 non-projector housing would likely earn me a ticket or 3.
