3400 oil leak

Well, I just got my 03 GAGT back from the dealer. The car has 7148 miles on it and the intake manifold had already started to leak oil!!!! I am not very happy about that. Besides that, I love my car. I have a Jet Module to put on it now. I already had it on there and it made a difference. That is how I notice the intake leaking, I was putting on the Module and noticed the oil.

Car has not been driven hard. It is the family vehicle. I have 2 other vehicles I drive to work all week.

Anybody else had there 3400 intake leak oil at low mileage??

... yes, I had mine off at 'roughly' 3000 miles while searching for an oil burning smell ... no ill effects since then; although, the slight oil leak was not the problem which was do with a chemical reaction between the 'normal hydrocarbon' oil and the start-up grease on the rear main seal so once I went to using Mobil1, the smell went away :)

Well, I got my car back on 4-30. Now, I still smell the oil burning smell, AND now there is a coolant leak.

Well, now my GAGT has a coolant leak around the same place that the oil leak was in. And I still smell the burning oil smell. And Ithe SES light came on again. Man, this is getting old already. Oh well, it is back at the dealer now getting "fixed" again!!!

... sounds to me like they installed the gasket incorrectly as the oil seals at the end have to seat properly with the intake gaskets or they can BOTH leak ... shouldn't have happened, but, it isn't the first time I have heard of it ... good luck :(
