I have a 93 GA SE and today I went to turn the heater on and the ABS light came on. Then it went right back off. Later on, I tried to turn the heat on and the light came on and it wouldnt allow me to roll the window down. When you press any of the buttons to roll down the windows the ABS Light comes on and the windows roll down. I havent modified anything electrical in the last 3 months other than the hid kit.

I heard a low static noise today while driving but other than that all you can hear is the ABS computer clicking on and off as the light comes on and off.

Anyone know what could possibly cause this problem ?

Thanks

Sounds like a loose electrical connection on the wire that feeds those three (and possibly more) loads.

I had a similar problem on my '96 Achieva. When I stepped on the brakes with the defroster on, stuff would shut off. I don't remember exactly what any more.

I traced it down to the plug on the drivers side of the firewall by the hinge. There was a connection that was worn out and went open when too much power went through it. It was one of the power wires that fed the fuse box.
