I Need A New Engine!!!!!!

hey all
i have a 1993 grand am get with the 3.3 v6 in it.
i need to replace my engine. i have been thinking of putting a 3800 v6 in it. my question is this....
is it posible to put a 3.8 in place of a 3.3?
what modifications do i have to do to the car to make it happen?
any help would be greatly appreciated

a bunch of us have thought about doing this but as far as i know none of us have tried it. I'm no mechanic but i think you will need the computer for the 3.8 and also the trans. otherwise i think that it should just drop in and bolt up because as far as i know the 3.3 and the 3.8 are the same block just with different inner workings

I was thinking about this project as well but the 3.8 were never realy powerfull until about 96 or 97 any way. there lots of mods for the 3300.... you just have to know where and what to look for ;)
