has anyone ever installed an ipod in their car?

I got alpine speakers and a face plate that comes with an Ipod hook up that I ran to my glove box, so I just open the glove box and attach the ipod, close the glove box, and the face plate can control the ipod. Cool stuff!

As Far as sounding good... It sounds great! I think in all cases it is better than cd, because there is no possibility of getting skips on bumpy roads. Also, what cd can hold over 2000+ songs? It is well worth it and with my new speakers it just gets better.

Edit: here is the head unit can read up on it, but I'm sure there is always better out there!
