I found the best solution to cleaning the black dual post mirrors. I have never had anything get the funny marks off my mirror that look like dried water. I was about to go out and by a new mirror. The solution is Mothers Back-to-Black. It is amazing must see for yourself, I wish I had before and after pics.

Everyone knows when it comes to mirrors, the GAOC secret word is "Peanut Butter". ;)

Or bug & tar remover. ;) Back to Black doesn't hold a candle to it.

During the last GAOC meet we gave away packets of Meguires' NXT Generation wax, that worked pretty darn good on them too and left them nice and wet looking.

Man, I gotta tell that one to my nephew, lol... He's a auto detailer and he details our 7 police cruisers; once in early Spring then again in the Fall. Clay-bars all the Crown Vic's in Spring; then high-speed buffs them.
Man, I just gotta tell him to use that peanut butter on the cheif's car...
Must be that peanut oil in the butter...
Do you ever get those damn water spots on the windows? I guess they are because of hard water or something.... Anyways, I dampen a paper towel with full strength vinegar... guarantee'd to remove every water spot on the windows.
I suppose that the vinegar could be drastically diluted, but I haven't tried that yet...

Distilled vinegar works great at breaking up mineral deposites (water spots). If you use it on paint make sure to re-wax. Getting water spots off windows you can also use 000 steal wool and stoners invisible glass.
