A couple weeks ago I had mentioned that my car was chosen for the re issue of "My Pontiac and Me" in High Performance Pontiac. This section was done away with a while back and the editor decided to bring it back. I didnt expect to get much out of being chosen for it, though when I found out that I had recieved a whole page....well I was happier than a pig in sh*t......If anyone is intersted, write to the magazine and see if you would be chosen for furture issues..

you will have to read the article....they did make up most of it. I had to sign a contract stating that they can alter it in anyway as well as use my pictures for other articles and what not.... I made sure that they mentioned the GAOC as well as Club ECM. I made sure to thank the members from both clubs..

I would if i had a scanner, though it wouldnt hurt to pick up the magazine. there are a lot of other good articles in this months edition. they also have the article on the double blown 474 gto. the car is insane...we saw it at ATCO this year....

Jay,CONGRAT"S! tenspeed just sent me straight:lol: I just wrote under "auto news and rumors" to tell everyone about it...didn't see it on this pg. I couldn't get over that a Pontiac mag. had even a pg & 3/4 spread on a GrandAM! I always thought that they didn't even know about us!!! The only reason I bought the mag...so again CONGRRATTTULLAATION!!!! I wished mine GrandAm looked as good:lol:

Sure it does you just got to know were to look. :D I can find them here does take some looking, and I have picked them up in Fredericton. Or you can suscribe to it. www.highperformancepontiac.com They want a little extra money to send it to canada but it is still cheaper then getting it of the rack.

I picked up and thought it was pretty cool. The magazine could use a little upgrade in the printing department though.

bballr,my thoughts are the same. What I could never understand w/ the only two Pontiac mags. printed. They never seem to write and show pic's. of anything that's related to GrandAm's or GrandPrix's.,that's why I won't subscribe to these mag's. I hope with Jay getting in,and what a awesome GrandAm SCT,that they will start giving GrandAm's some space in their mag'.,per ex. 10speed,bp's97GAGT,etc.

they did have a couple months ago a article on the grand am. with putting a slp exhaust and stage 3 intake and dynoin it...that was like 7-8 months ago. as well as a couple months ago they had some pictures of us at atco.

That's cool Jay,to bad I didn't see it! These Pontiac mag's gotta understand guy's like you go the next level with their GrandAm's so start showing pic's and writting how-too's about our cars! Their is ALOT of us GA owners out their-more then goat owners!

Got my copy the other day Jay.

Looking good. Even some props for GAOC and ClubECM in there too.

I have to get it scanned and up on our website ASAP.

It's a grassroots style magazine. Lucky it's still in print because it's not as popular as say Hot Rod, or Car Craft are.

They are more into restoration details, paint and build codes then worring about have every page a full color. I love High Performance Pontiac because of their historic style. I've always learned alot about rare or hard to find vehicles and options from that magazine.

I was kinda sad about that.
