I'm pretty happy overall. Its way brighter than the silverstars i had, and when i first turn them on, its sweet how it builds it self up to full strength. Only problem i have no is that the high beam indicator in my dash is always on. Anyone thinking of switching to HID, do it, its well worth every penny.

where u plug in your bulbs to the harness of your stock harness if you switch the top left to right you will have your normal lights on and not your highs

yea, jasons right, if you switch the wires, youll have them as your low beams...i did it to mine though i have no high beams. I think there is a ground problem with mine because I cant get the other halogen bulb to stay on. as well as every time i attempt to wire them i blow out the halos in my fog lights....i dont know its weird..

So i re-read this, i just seen its the connections coming from the stock wiring harness? i need to switch the two red wires around? thats probably why i had to plug the connections in on the ballasts backwards to get to to work. Just wanna make sure i get it right before i pull my headlights off again. just switch the two red wires coming from the stock connection?

i mounted the driver side off a screw that is holding the windshield washer tank, and on the pass side, i used a screw that is holding on the horn. very easy.

Id do one if i had it 100% right, i switched the wires i think a couple people told me to, and its still showing i have my brights on at night, and throws a SVS light in the day time. Easy way to disable DRLs i guess but id like to have it done right before i tell other people how to do it.

i hope you have ballast covers, but even then you run the risk of them getting water/debris damage. mine are tucked inside the safe and warm engine bay, DS next to the battery and ps ziptied to the enginewell by the coolant reservoir.

you will have to disable your DRLs.. since you have a 99...it is very easy to do. You can do a search on grandamgt.com and find the how to on there.. just a few wires that need to be cut and grouned. That will eliminate the SVS light. The high beams.. hmm never heard of that one.
