Just wanted to share so that everyone knows. My window motor went out awhile ago. I bought my replacement some time ago on ebay for $60, from a seller called doctorautoparts. Well my motor just died, so I sent them an email, and a Stephanie from there emailed back and said that a new window motor was on the way + a return label for the old motor. Just wanted to recommend these guys for window motors. I just checked their store:

Right now they're selling the grand am window regulators for $40. They offer a lifetime replacement warranty. If my window motor ever dies again, it'll be replaced. I know where I'm buying my passenger motor (it's going slow now :()

Yeah, I found how much cheaper it was online and decided to risk it....these guys are great, lifetime replacement warranty, no questions asked.

A 'lifetime warranty' is usually quite helpful.
Personally, I'd rather pay 50% more ONCE, for a beter-made product that won't fail.
My time to go back and replace something, even with a free replacement, is just worth more than saving a few $$.

Lifetime warranty means nothing , the company would still have to be in business to honour it .... ;)

I bought a GA window regulator from these guys. I paid $3 more thatn the other websites, but they do warranty their product. Most sites, you get what you buy as is, no returns.
They ship UPS and email you a tracking number.
I could not tell the difference from theirs and the OEM unit I removed. Good people to deal with.

You do know that the regulators and the motor are not the same thing, right? New regulators usually come with a new motor but a motor doesn't come with new regulators.
If your motor fails changing the regulators won't fix it.

Ok, could that be why my part cost so much from the parts store, because the motor came with the regulator (I'm sure they said it was a combo deal)? I kinda wondered why there was such a price difference.

Yeah the motor is seperate, although I don't know if they sell them seperate...mine is manual, and the regulator cost $80, install was $80, for the driver side, passenger is next.
Here is the site I used, they have the regulator and motor for $79 including shipping on the 92-98, and a set of driver and passenger regulators with motors for $166 including shipping for the 99-04 models.

Looks like I didn't research enough, to save money. Oh well, it was needed quickly, as my window was down when the regulator broke.
