Ok when i get in my car in the morning after it rains the night before the floors always have water on them. I have gotten really used to putting towels down to soak up the water but obviously thats not actually fixing the problem. Also when im driving down the road and i turn a sharp corner i can here a wave of water slosh to one side of the car. Also if i have my heater on and the fan going i can here a sizzle type noise when the water sloshes towards the passanger side and hits the fan. But what i am wondering is, where is the most likely place the water is coming from. When water runs down into the cowel is there like some place that it is supposed to drain at and could it possibly be clogged. Also how am i supposed to get the damn cowel off because i cannot manager to get the wiper arms to come off.

Its the infamous firewall leak that was notorious in our 4th Generation GA's. I have it too.

Water leaks in from around the fresh air vent under the passenger side cowl. Remove the wiper arms and cowl, remove the fresh air vent and re-seal with silicone. Pretty easy job.

On my '96, when you raise the wiper arm, there are a couple of small holes by the hinge that align. You can stick a small nail through them to keep the arms up.

Lots of WD40, and wiggling and such to remove the arm from the post. There is a tool for this. It like a small gear puller. You can try putting the nut back on the top to protect the threads and tap it with a hammer.

Here's an easier trick:

Tools:
1) 8oz hammer
2) 24" prybar

Procedure: Remove nut covers (if they are still there), remove retaining nuts.
Gently pry up from under the wiper at the point of pivot (the end part) and tap the wiper stud with the 8oz hammer several times or one good whack...whichever works. Be careful not to strike at an angle or you will mash the threads on the stud...straight on is best.

They pop right off. I learned this little trick from a young fella that I worked with...per' smart kid. :)

this should help with the water inside the car.

as for sloshing around, it is probably under the cowel as suggested. There is a drain for the water to escape but it might be clogged with debris so clean it out. should be one right below the blower motor.
