This winter im not putting mine up on stands. I just filled the tires to their max and once a month im gonna put it in neutural and push it fowards or backwards to avoid flat spots.

Car looks great. My car has been in storage for 3 weeks. Tires these days dont usually get bald spots for sitting around for a while

They wouldnt really get bald cause the tred would be fine. Kinda more like mis-shaped. But yeah, shouldnt be to bad if its only a couple months. I would move the car just to be on the safe side though. You should be going to start the car every now and then also, its not good to let it just sit there.

Its amazing how many people think that storing a car is as easy as leaving it in a garage or enclosure for 6 months-year. You still have to attend to it often.

I never said I dont start it. I talked to my mechanic who stores many cars and he claims that the car doesn't need all that loving if it is being stored for 5 months. You do need to do the recent start up and let it run. You can also place dry gas in the gas tank so it can start up better in the cold

I was just replying to what biggie said.
Like my fiance for example. When we first got together it was winter and i told her i had to go tend to my car this afternoon. She says "why, Isnt it in storage?". I had to explain to her that i cant just leave it without doing monthly check-ups.
At least i own my own home now and only have to walk 40ft to my garage. I can check on it everyday, its nice.

mine is on the way to and or from work... so i see mine every other day, start it every 3-4 days, let her get to about 200.... set it there for a while.... and then say good bye for the night.
