I was not sure where to post this so ill post it here :P .
A week ago or so I bought a HID kit and have been putting off installing them/ debating if I should put them in. Well today I could not sleep so I thought what the hell and installed them. The kit was a plug and play set up so it dint take long to get installed.
(Sorry for the pic quality my camera is on its last lag)

This is the box that makes it into HIDs I guess, I zip tied them to the inside of my fender. Hopfully they can hold up to the weather alirght.

It was built into the kit to turn your DRL off and be able to control your lights?

I have a question...can you use your foglights when the HIDs are on? if yes, is that the case with all HID kits?

^^^ U would be correct, that is a great site for lighting. I would recomend checking it out. Yes, xLongIslandcore I can use my fogs with the HID's. However the kit does eliminate my brights, as I think any HID kit would for a single bulb headlight.

Wow tim that is a huge difference. Next mod for me.
EDIT: What size do I need?
you need 9007...but over on www.pilothid.com they have a new hybrid bulb that has built in halogen highbeams. a few over on gagt have had great success with them, and i reccommend keeping your highbeams, i wish i had em.

I got my yellow fogs from ebay $12, #893 can't go wrong....jelous of the HIDs Silverstars suck, I had some cheap blue eurolites' and I can't tell the difference besides the $30 I'm missing :( Anyone knows if nighthawks are better cause that will save me a trip to go exchange them???

I'm going to be going with Ozniums sometime this week, mostly because i know it's a good product and the service from there is even better.
These Pilot Hids look like a great deal to though, since it has the high beams but i dont want to be one of the first to try them. Has anyone ever used this brand?

ive had pilots for a few months now, they are a great product at a cheap price, and their customer service kicks major ass. Plus they have "previous customer" discounts. ;)

Man the only reason I didnt have HIDs already is that I wouldnt be able to keep my highbeams. This is an awesome solution and shall be on my car soon.

and what r these "previous customer discounts" you speak of. i would never dis on ozonium...they have great products, but the pilots are extremely easy to install, almost plug n play with the included directions. they give incentives if you buy from them more than once...its not much, maybe 10-15% but its still enough for me to go back next time around.:D
