Shawn not sure if I told you this before or not but that is one of the BEST photos of ANY Grand Am I have ever seen.

Black GAGTs are my favorite and I love night shots. They are so hard to do with a dark subject but when they come out right they look killer.

Did you park the car there and just see the light was premo, or did you hunt for a spot like that. Seems like a person could grow old looking for a spot like that, the way it lights up under/around/ontop/you get the point.

Anyway It's my favorite car shot I have seen.

Still think you must have walked up to it and seen the lighting and just couldn't pass on the shot.

I noticed the spot a few days before... It's right behind one of the malls on the waterfront in Summerside. I hadn't realized they renovated the boardwalk there. Once I saw it, I knew it'd make for a good shot.

Surprisingly, this shot was taken just a few feet away 2 years before:

I tried several different angles, and different placements to get the lighting and the composure just right. There is a big gazebo there, just a few feet away, that I might try to get a shot under next summer. :)

Nope, no overlays. I try to keep the rims in good shape. They don't see winter. No overly harsh cleaners, no polishes, etc. Just spray 'em with Spray 9 or Turtle Wax Platinum wheel cleaner, then wash down with a mitt & soap. Dry with a chamois, then a little spray of ammonia-free glass cleaner. After 4 years, they still look like new. :)

I got mine used...after all the wheel weights :-( They are fairly worn looking. I'm gonna try and get them chromed.

Big renovation, no back lights at all for the shot back then. Still a nice shot of the car. But the light dances off/on all parts of the car in the night shot.

I still like the hood full of snow shot too.
