Had a little accident this morning

I was on my way to work this morning and while I was changing lanes, a woman pulled out from a parking spot and hit me in the side. I wasnt hurt too bad, but the cars pretty banged up. The woman was ruled at fault because I was almost completley in the lane and she pulled out without looking that good. The car is fixable, and while its there its getting some mods.:D

I agree they driv like idiots in the city where I work. I'm getting the antenna shaved and the trunk lock shaved, and I'm replacing the badges with decals from grafxwerks, and if budget allows, ghost flames.

I am sorry to hear....Was any of your sc/t lip kit (front lip, sides, or rear lip) damaged badly? Not sure about ghost flames but I like your idea of shaving :)

the side skirt was scuffed up a little, but it wasnt damaged too badly thankfully.

I am sorry to hear this. I was hit from behind by a box truck one month ago. Believe me its not just red cars< I have more people pull out in front of me than you can imagine. Good luck Black is bad color for that

Oh and now her insurance company is saying that she said I hit her, and they are refusing to pay, so now I have to run my truck (which gets 12 mpg) an hour one way to work everyday, plus get a lawyer. I'm still trying to figure out how I hit her.

That she was at fault, I haven't gotten the report yet, but thats what the cop said she was gonna write in it, as far as details, I'll have the full report sometime next week.

Well then she wont have a leg to stand on. Put some pressure on her by saying that if you win she has to pay for your lawyer and so on. That will usually cause people to give up. Did she get a ticket also?

No she didnt get a ticket, but I am gonna tell the lawyer on monday to send her a letter telling her that she's getting sued.

I had an accident similar to that, and the dent behind the door, f*cked up rim,panel fallin off.... that almost exactly what mine looked like afterwards. Holy.....

wow that looks very similar to mine, except yours had a much harder impact, heres a pic of mine, some guy backed out of his driveway and hit me, i was only going about 30mph. he was not given a ticket but was seen as being "at fault" so it didnt go against me and was covered. the total damage was about 4800, but they also painted my entire bumper too :) they had to replace the entire quarter panal and they did an excellent job too. u cant even tell where the cuts were made and the paint matches EXACTLY to the rest of the car. when u get hte car back make sure there isnt overspray all over the car like there was with mine.

ironically, i got in a little accident about a week ago, the girl that hit me (on the way to school) ran the stop sign. the police report clearly had her at fault but her dad (a lawyer) had a different theory. the same reason you were in an accident, apparently driving sideways is becoming very popular.
