got me car back to FTC-KY finally

i'm happy as hell. went home for the weekend (maryland) and drove my car back. almost 700 miles on a basicly brand new motor. yea yea i know. thats hell of a break in, but even the guy at the shop (Scotts Speed SHop in Hagerstown) said it shouldnt be too much harm if i take it easy. which i did. now, i did play with it some, lol, who wouldnt. thing is QUICK! lol. and the exhaust looks great on it. the 2.5" pipes look huge as hell under the car. lol. the sound of it can be a lil raspy with the Magnaflow muffler he put on it, but ya cant really expect too much with a 4banger and such a free flowing exhaust. it did stutter a few times and even died once on my while i was still home, still had some of the old bad gas in it, even tho i put water remover and cleaner it when i put the first filled it up.check engine light came on for "random miss" but turned its self off be for i could have Scott read the codes. gotta go do its 'first' oil change today sometime and i'l try to take some good pics of the car while i'm out there. mind ya, she still doesnt have her nice shoes on. but even with the stock 14's, she still rode pretty good, all be it stiffly. but i will say this, damn i miss the gas mileage this thing gets!!!! 29mpg first haf with more spirited driving and more hills. 31mpg second half of the trip with lil less spirited driving and less hills. dayummmm!! lol, this on a car rated for 32mpg hi-way stock!!!

sorry i missed ya, but didnt get away from the family long enuff to get out that way. looking to be home in may for a cuzins wedding in b-more. if the cars running good i'll be driving it home.
